By AnomalyLess than 15 minutes after polls closed in Ohio, absentee votes in the race for the U.S. Senate showed incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown with a strong lead over Republican challenger and Ohio state Treasurer Josh Mandel. Republicans poured an enormous amount of funds into defeating Brown but he was victorious. Brown is a progressive favorite, fighting for the middle class, and campaigning to get Big Money out of politics.
